Harrison Greenbaum
has been performing magic ever since he was 5 years old, when he received a
magic set for Chanukah. A current undergraduate at Harvard University,
Harrison's magic career has exploded in recent years!
Harrison is proud to be a featured close-up
and stage performer at the Mystery
Lounge, the longest-running magic show in Boston, as well as a
participant in Monday Night Magic, the longest-running
magic show in New York. Harrison also has been a featured performer in the sold-out Harvard's Night at
the Apollo; the smash-hit Harvard production of Graffiti; and
the standing-room only (two years in a row!) Arts First Harvard Magic Society
show.
Harrison has been featured for his magic in
both the Boston Globe and New York Times. He
has also been highlighted in MUM, the official magazine of the
Society of American Magicians.
Harrison is an award-winning
participant at the prestigious and select Tannen's Magic Camp (Senior Stage
finalist, Camper of the Year 2005), a member of the Society of American
Magicians, and an advisor to the Society of Young Magicians. He is also
the President of the Harvard Magic Society.
Harrison is an official magic instructor for Tannen's
Magic, the biggest magic store in the world, and a member of the staff of Tannen's
Magic Camp, the world's best and most prestigious magic camp.
A prolific writer, Harrison's essay, "The
Magic of Magic," was featured in 50 Successful Harvard Essays (2nd
edition). Additionally, Harrison's essay and annotated bibliography
for his magic book collection, "'A Uniquely Portable Magic': A Collection
of Treasures from the Conjuring Arts," received First Place in Harvard
University's Visiting Committee Undergraduate Book Collecting Prize.
